2009 MTV VMA's: Recap

Last night, the 2009 MTV VMA's went down in The Big Apple! Too bad, we can't say without a hitch.

First things first, let's start off with the facts:

Video of the Year: "Single Ladies" - Beyonce
Best New Artist: Lady Gaga
Best Hip-Hop Video: "We Made You" - Eminem
Best Male Video: "Live Your Life" - T.I.
Best Pop Video: "Womanizer" - Britney Spears
Best Rock Video: "21 Guns" - Green Day
Best Female Video: "You Belong With Me" - Taylor Swift"
Best Video (That Should Have Won A Moonman): "Sabotage" - Beastie Boys
Breakthrough Video: "Lessons Learned" - Matt and Kim
Best Art Direction: "Paparazzi" - Lady Gaga
Best Choreography: "Single Ladies" - Beyonce
Best Cinematography: "21 Guns" - Green Day
Best Direction: "21 Guns" - Green Day
Best Editing: "Single Ladies" - Beyonce
Best Special Effects: "Paparrazzi" - Lady Gaga

Opening up the show was MaDonna giving her speech about her relationship with Michael Jackson, which went into the MJ tribute by Janet Jackson.

Janet definitely performed very well, but with all the hype they put around the tribute, I was expecting a little more.

Up next, 'Ye stormed the stage in the middle of country star Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for Best Female Video, grabbed the mic and -- in short -- said Beyonce should've won the award.

'Ye was soooooo out of line, BUT he only said what folks really wanted to say or do. He probably felt stupid after B won the award for Video Of The Year, anyway! Gucci!

Beyonce KILLS with her 'Single Ladies'performance:

That's exactly why she is Queen B!

Before making her exit, she did what a REAL CLASSY Lady would do!

Did that lil heffa forget to say Thank You to Queen B!

And what better way to end the show, then to have Hip Hop's GREATEST perform with the BEAUTIFUL Alicia Keys!

Can someone PLEASE tell me where Lil Bow/Mama came from? No one invited you on stage! She thought Jay or Keys would show her love-#EPIC FAIL!
