Jay Z Responds To Beanie Sigel's Diss

This week, Beanie Sigel dropped a diss track towards his former boss Jay-Z, and then hopped on Philly radio to elaborate on why he did it.

Beans criticized Jay on the track, called "I Ain't Ya Average Cat," for not doing enough to make his artists as successful as they should've been.

He even claiming that, at one point, he asked the superstar rapper for a release from the Roc because he had a huge deal on the table, but was denied.

While he claims Jay never pushed the artists on his Roc-A-Fella imprint, like say a 50 Cent did for Tony Yayo or Lloyd Banks, Jay-Z sees things very different.

In a recent press conference in Canada, in support of his Blueprint 3 album, Jay was asked how he felt about Beanie's allegations, to which he explained that he gave the Philly rapper more than enough opportunities to succeed. So, if he didn't, it was his own fault. (Ballerstatus)
