Recap: Jay Z's Blueprint 3 Tour & Pre-Party

So Tuesday, it was Roc Nation Radio on 92Q! 92Q Played Jay Z songs all day! Everyone was getting ready for the Blueprint 3 concert that night at the First Mariner Arena!

Shyne Arrives To Belize!

It was messed up that Shyne had to be deported to Belize, but Im sayin'...they couldn't have gave my dude a hair-cut?

Shyne was officially deported yesterday and touched down in Belize escorted by a U.S. Marshall after serving almost 9 years in jail for his role in a nightclub shooting in New York city. According to the Belizan, he was welcomed by his father Dean Barrow, Prime Minister of Belize, his mother and other family members. Before showering & eating he headed straight to Princess Royal Youth Hostel where he gave the kids a motivational visit. He said it was important to him because he spent two years in a youth home when he was younger. He then headed to the Radisson where he rented out a whole floor so that he could have privacy for a few weeks. Via his uncle:

Shyne is home. He wants to say how happy he is to be home and to be a free man. He would love to have a conversation with the media but because he was legally advised by Professor Ogletree, he must not speak to the media because he doesn’t want to prejudice his situation with the US government or with the Belize government. So he asked me to ask you that he does not want to disrespect you the media, but please to understand what is going on. You could see the tears in his eyes as they hugged and the romantic situation in there especially with his Grandmother and with his father, with his younger brother Anwar, they hugged and did not want to let go of each other.”

“His residence at my place is two weeks away from completion so he has rented a complete floor at the Radisson Fort George Hotel. So every room on a floor was taken by him whether he will use it or not. He said that after going through the eight and a half years he has gone through, he needs some privacy, he needs not to be around anybody, he needs just to sit down in isolation and contemplate his life. And I think that we need to respect that. If you notice, he has lost an extreme amount of weight.”

Professor Charles Ogletree is expected to make a statement in Belize on Saturday. He is still attempting to obtain a pardon from Governer Patterson so that Shyne can return to the U.S. (MissInfo)

Plies Pays Fan To Leave Concert

Even though Plies may rap about being a 'goon' and getting that 'Becky'-don't get it twisted, Plies has a good heart!

During a recent show at Florida State University, he reportedly paid a young fan in the crowd $1,000 to leave because he felt his music was inappropriate for them.

Plies was getting ready to perform his smash hit, "Bust It Baby," but felt that the little girl was too young to hear the song's raunchy lyrics.

He broke out a stack from his pocket, handed it to the girl, and told her to have her parents take her somewhere "nice." (Ballerstatus)


In other Plies news, he may say he is a "Goon" but Jamie Foxx is reporting a different story!


During a recent broadcast of his Foxxhole radio show on Sirius Satellite, actor/singer Jamie Foxx detailed an incident where Plies hid when "30 real n****s" came onto their video set.

According to Foxx, he disfused the situation before anything could happen, but afterward, Plies was nowhere to be found.

"After we calmed the situation, I shook 30 hands. Aight n****, aight cool, you too. ..." the actor explained. "[Backstage, they] telling me 'Foxx, I think you should stay back here'. I'm not trying to stay back here in this dressing room. I'm finna stay out, I'm not staying back here. I get out there, and we can't find Plies. I understand why. You know why? He was afraid for his life. You never know, he could'a died. He ran to the bathroom."

Foxx said that the men were upset at the persona rappers like Plies portray in their music, and they were there to see he was the person he talks about in his music. So, Foxx confronted them to calm things down.

Robin Thicke FINALLY Knocks Up Wife, Paula Patton; New Music with Jay Z!

Robin Thicke and wife, actress Paula Patton, is reportedly expecting their first baby together, the couple’s publicist reportedly confirmed.

The couple who were high school sweethearts have known each other since the age of fourteen after meeting at a teen club and later married in 2005.

In an interview on last year, Thicke stated he wanted a big family and even plans on possibly adopting, but went on to state that they currently weren’t ready for a child just yet.

Most recently, Paula Patton told Giant Magazine (where she’s featured in a sexy photo spread) that she had stopped taking birth control for the past few months in hopes to get pregnant.

According to Patton, she had been on ‘the pill’ since they started dating.

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton are expecting their newborn sometime in mid-2010 or later. (Hip HopRx)

Not only has Robin been busy 'knocking' up Paula, he's been in the studio working on the new album. The first single off his new album, Sex Therapy, is making its way to radio.

Kanye West's 'Attack of The Paparazzi' Case Dismissed!

Things were beginning to go down-hill for Kanye West, but on Friday while Wayne was pleading guilty for gun-charges, West' paparazzi case was being dismissed.

Though he wasn't present in court on Friday, Yeezy's attorney, Blair Berk, appeared in court and argued in the rapper's defense.

Deputy L.A. City Attorney Felton Newell disputed the notion the case was overcharged, claiming the defendants acted with "reckless disregard," adding the video shows "an intent to commit a felony." Berk appeared without her client and noted that TMZ had settled its beef with Kanye because West paid for the camera he broke at LAX on Sept. 11, 2008. The judge agreed -- saying if TMZ didn't want to press charges, it didn't make a lot of sense to carry on with the case. In the end, the judge felt since the defendants enrolled in an anger management program, he said he'll dismiss the charges when they both serve 50 hours of community service. But he added Kanye's conduct was not acceptable. (TMZ)

Lil Wayne's dream are coming to past! He is finally getting the chance to go see 'Mrs. Officer'.....He's gonna be like Wyclef-Gone Til November...He gonna be 'Locked Up'-shout out to Akon.....you get the picture! All you Weezy fans just better get ready to write letters and put some money on his books.Lil Wayne has just pled guilty to attempted weapon possession in New York.

Wayne was busted on July 22, 2007 in NYC after police pulled over his tour bus because they allegedly smelled pot.

Cops say when an officer approached the bus, Wayne tossed a Louis Vuitton bag with a gun inside.

New York is known for having extremely tough gun laws — Wayne is expecting to get 1-year behind bars.







Wayne’s troubles are far from over.

The rapper still faces felony drug possession and weapons charges in Arizona … after cops found 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of cocaine, 41 grams of ecstasy, various drug paraphernalia and a handgun on his tour bus during a traffic stop in Yuma County back in 2008.

Wayne pled not guilty to those charges — his trial is set for March of 2010.(TMZ)

HBO's TV Hero Gets Real.....Sohn Gets Youth ReWired For Change!

Sonja, better known as Detective Kima Greggs, from HBO’s ‘The Wire’ may have played a cop taking down the youth and criminals of Baltimore. Well now, she is doing everything she got to lift them up, and get the ‘ReWired’

For five seasons, Sonja Sohn played Detective Kima Greggs on HBO’s “The Wire,” the gritty Baltimore crime drama.

Now Sohn is using her “ReWired for Change” to help re-direct at-risk youths who have run afoul of the law.

Tomorrow,October 23rd, “ReWired for Change” will host a Fundraiser Comedy Show at The Havanna Club from 8p-11p(600 Water St).

Comedy show will feature B-Phlat, Top-Cop Timmy Hall, and Justin Schlagal.

Tiny Speaks On T.I. "He's So Busy"

Tiny isn't gonna let anybody forget her man T.I. while is away on lock-down. She recently spoke with AllHipHop about the King of The South.

Kanye West Is Not Dead!!; #LongLiveYeezy

Some people just love to keep stuff going! Like really, when is it or was it EVER cool to start a rumor that someone died!

Last nite, there was a rumor that Kanye West died in a car accident.



The fake news story claims that "a bizarre car crash in Los Angeles involving two luxury cars early this morning [left] rapper Kanye West dead, a second injured, a third arrested for gross vehicular manslaughter and a fourth person was detained by police. A Los Angeles Police Department officer witnessed the wreck and saw a red Ferrari and a white Porsche 'spinning out of control' on Jamboree Road between Bison Avenue and East Bluff Drive."

The story goes on to provide a seemingly detailed account of the wreckage and injuries, complete with quotes from an LAPD lieutenant on the scene. (MTV)


Computer security blog Sophos.com tracked the origins of the scam, tying it to hackers who used the rumor to push the false reports to the top of Internet search engine results. By Wednesday morning #RIPKanyeWest became a Trending Topic on Twitter, as well as one of the most-searched topics on Google Trends

Once the rumor spread As of yet, neither Kanye or his publicist have addressed the hoax, but his girlfriend, Amber Rose, took to her Twitter to defend 'Ye!

"This 'RIP Kanye West' topic is not funny and it's NOT TRUE! He has people like myself and his family that love him very much. ... It's in extreme poor taste to have that as a trendy topic. It's totally disrespectful to make up a story like this we're all human ... and we all make mistakes and to say someone died cuz of a mistake is ridiculous. You wouldn't want someone to say that about you."

Shyne To Be Deported!

Despite efforts by his father to get a pardon from the Governer of NY, Shyne will eventually be deported to Belize.

During her show on Hot 97, Angie Martinez & Miss Info shared this about Shyne:

Shyne’s team is fighting to stay in the US where his mother and his grandmother live and where they raised him….but it seems like he’s going to have to continue the fight from Belize. Shyne will be released from Immigration custody but will then be deported to Belize soon. He has Harvard Professor Charles Ogletree advocating on his behalf in concert with his legal team. They’re still urging fans to reach out to Governor Patterson’s office to petition for Shyne’s pardon but deportation is imminent.

And what about Shyne’s mental state? Angie says:

“Shyne is one of the strongest people I know and he’s handling this situation just as I’d expect him to. It must be frustrating for all of his friends and family; he served his time, and keeps getting all these different dates and conflicting information. But he’s a soldier, he’s dealing with it.”

Diddy should be ashamed of himself. He needs to be making whatever calls that he can to help this man out.

Nene Leakes Heated At RHOA Producers

They can call Nene the “ghetto housewife” of ATL all they want too, but she is definitely the REALEST! Nene fires back at producers of Real Housewive of Atlanta for how they portray her in Season Finale.

NeNe is getting buck with some producers at Bravo who are painting her to look evil. NeNe says that in a scene with her and Kim Zolciack, the show portrays her choking Kim for not putting her on “Tardy for the Party.” NeNe says she was choking Kim out because she was talking about the RHOA cast to the Orange County Housewives at a Bravo award show. Foxy Brown Causes 3 C.O's To Resign!

While Foxy Brown was serving her prison bid for assaulting two manicurists, rumors were swirling that the BK diva was getting preferential treatment. Brown was reported to be wearing designer clothing and allowed to conduct an interview with a magazine while incarcerated.

Now more than a year since her release, officials at Rikers Island are resigning in connection to the allegations. Three corrections officials are giving up their positions, Carolyn Thomas, Frank Squillante and George Okada.

Thomas served as Chief of Department, Squillante was assistant chief of special operations and Okada was warden of the detention center. The three official's resignations are effective October 31.

According to the New York Daily News, the rumors of Foxy's luxurious prison stint are true. The BK rapper was allowed to not only do an interview behind bars; the Ill Na Na was given permission to do a photo shoot as well. (Hip Hop Wired)

T-Pain Is A 'Pain' In The Ass For Local Musos

If T-Pain throws shade towards "A-list" artist, who's to say he won't throw it towards local artist?

South African newspaper Sunday World is reporting that T-Pain angered fellow performers at Friday's Macufe African Cultural Festival in South Africa by exhibiting arrogant and disrespectful behavior backstage.

Under the headline "T-Pain in the ass for local musos," the article stated that T-Pain kicked local acts out of the backstage changing area because he refused to share space with them.

Festival organizer Joe Chakela denied the accusations, but conceded there was a policy in place to make sure no artists remained on stage after a performance.

“People must not come with their own stories. Nobody was manhandled or chased away from the stage,” he stated. “The policy was that artists who had finished performing must not go on stage or near it to watch T-Pain perform.”
