Usher Robbed Of Over $1 Million In Jewelry, Furs, and Cash

According to MyFoxAtlanta, Usher Raymond, 31, and a male friend were in his GMC Yukon on Dec. 14 when they pulled up to an AT&T store near Lenox Mall and went inside. When they returned to the vehicle they found that it had been broken into.

The singer said more than a million dollars worth of jewelry was stolen along with $50,000 in furs and about $20,000 cash.

A witness said they saw a Chevy Impala with tinted windows drive up next to the SUV.

The witness told police a man got out of the Impala and popped open the door to the SUV.

The incident is still being investigated.

Lloyd Banks Arrested For Assualt, Robbery

G-Unit's Lloyd Banks is being held by police in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, on assault and robbery charges after an incident involving a local promoter on Friday night. Authorities say that Banks and three others assaulted the promoter after the G-Unit member performed at Club NV in nearby Blandford late Friday night.

Sergeant Brad Finucan of the Waterloo Regional Police's Criminal Investigations branch told MTV News on Sunday (January 10) that Banks (real name: Christopher Lloyd) and three associates got into a dispute with the promoter at a local hotel over payment for performance and an appearance fee. The promoter's name was withheld by police.

The promoter alleged that early Saturday morning the lyricist and three associates — Nicklas Sloane, Shawn McGee, and Tyrell Cooper — held him in his hotel room against his will, assaulted and robbed him. All four men were charged with forceful confinement, aggravated assault and robbery. The four made a video court appearance on Sunday afternoon (January 10) and are due to appear in court again early this week. They remained in police custody at press time(MTV News).

TMZ reports that "For the Love of Ray J" star Monica Danger has lost custody of her newborn baby -- just weeks after she was placed on a psychiatric hold over an incident involving the child.
A rep for Monica confirmed that L.A. Child Protective Services placed the baby girl in the custody of her father last week

Mayor Sheila Dixon To Resign

Breaking News:

Mayor Sheila Dixon will resign on February 4th. This is the same date that reportedly Stephanie Rawlings-Blake will be acting as Mayor.

Dixon will have to sell the furs and donate the proceeds to Bea Gaddy mission; She has agreed to give $45000 to Bea Gaddy organization and the proceeds from the coats to go to Youth Works. She can not use tax payer money for her court fees.

This now becomes her legacy-a tragic end to what was prospected to be a great career. Mayor Dixon can never run for office again.

*Mayor Dixon has officially accepted the terms of the agreement for the benefits of the city

*She does not want to drag the city or the citizens any longer through this process

*The transition will be amicable and she loves the City of Baltimore and the people

Former B2K Member Accused of Domestic Violence

Former B2K member J-Boog aka Jarell Damonte Houston was arrested and charged with domestic violence after an altercation with his baby mama in their L.A. home:

Law enforcement sources say the ex-boy bander was arrested late yesterday afternoon(Jan 4th) and charged with the crime of “corporal punishment on a spouse”. He also had outstanding warrants relating to an allegedly bad driving record.

Neighbors say they heard screaming in the house earlier in the day and when the authorities arrived, they rolled deep with about 6 or 7 squad cars.

According to TMZ, police stayed for about an hour and there was no confirmation on who else was involved. (SFTA)

J-Boog is unmarried and is reportedly still dating his baby mama, Jondelle (pictured below with their daughter).

Gilbert Speaks On Gun Situation-"It Was All A Joke"

Washington Wizards' Gilbert Arenas met with federal prosecutors to discuss why he had guns in his locker at the Verizon Center.



In a statement released earlier today, Arenas said:

"I had kept the four unloaded handguns in my house in Virginia, but then moved them over to my locker at the Verizon Center to keep them away from my young kids."

Arenas said he believed it was legal to store the guns in the District of Columbia. He said he took the guns out of his locker "in a misguided effort to play a joke on a teammate."

"Joke or not, I now recognize that what I did was a mistake and was wrong. I should not have brought the guns to DC in the first place, and I now realize that there's no such thing as joking around when it comes to guns - even if unloaded."

Arenas is now facing an almost definite form of punishment.

I guess they don't call it "gun-play" for nothing. He couldn't find a better excuse than blaming his kids as to why he brought the guns to work! Really?? Did they buy that? This not going to end up good for Arena's or his teammate.

It seems that this situation is overshadowing the situation with his fiance' messing around with Shaq, and how he is getting all of his kids tested! Whew, Arenas...you got alot going on!
