Usher Mom Allegedly Signs The "Papers," Again!!!

Sources are reporting that Usher's mom, Jonetta Patton, has allegedly called it quits again as his manager.


The source is also reporting that Jive was pushing his album, Raymond vs. Raymond, back because he can’t keep a stable team in place. According to the NY Daily News, it’s all because of Ursh’s new cougar girlfriend Grace Miguel.

Apparently the crooner and his mother — and former manager– Jonetta Patton are officially on the outs and severed their professional ties in late November 2009.

“She walked away from the project because Usher had his girlfriend [and former Def Jam executive] Grace Miguel was all in the mix,” says the source.

“She felt as though if she didn’t end things when she did, it would permanently affect their personal relationship,” continues the source.

Usher had apparently declared that he would manage himself, with the help of Miguel, but the label felt that “there was chaos in the camp.” (The YBF)

Usher Robbed Of Over $1 Million In Jewelry, Furs, and Cash

According to MyFoxAtlanta, Usher Raymond, 31, and a male friend were in his GMC Yukon on Dec. 14 when they pulled up to an AT&T store near Lenox Mall and went inside. When they returned to the vehicle they found that it had been broken into.

The singer said more than a million dollars worth of jewelry was stolen along with $50,000 in furs and about $20,000 cash.

A witness said they saw a Chevy Impala with tinted windows drive up next to the SUV.

The witness told police a man got out of the Impala and popped open the door to the SUV.

The incident is still being investigated.

Usher FINALLY Signs The 'Papers'

Usher Raymond, 30, and Wife Tameka Foster Raymond’s Divorce is FINAL!

After filing for divorce in June, the two have been living separate lives, says a source. Usher and Tameka have two children together Usher Raymond V, 22 months, and Naviyd, 9 months. The Motion for Divorce was final on Nov. 4th.

We’ve all heard Usher’s new single ‘Papers’ in which he sings about moving on: “I gave my heart and turned my back against the world ‘cuz you were my girl/ I done damn near lost my mama/I done been through so much drama/I done turned into the man I never thought I’d be/I’m ready to sign them papers.” In the lyrics, Usher speaks on his personal life, including having to fire his mother as his manager and ‘Signing Papers’ may be referring to his ex-wife Tameka Foster. New Music: Gucci Mane feat. Usher-Spotlight

Since last week, I was getting emails and calls about the brand new Gucci Mane record that was gonna be so BIG! I definitely agree that this will be one of his most "mainstream" records ever, but 'In My Opinion', it not that great!

I was expecting some HOT street stuff from Gucci! Instead, we got this! I guess Gucci is ready to get some of "that" money! I wonder if his street fans will still respect him like they used too? I don't know...maybe it will grow on me, or maybe NOT!

Alicia Keys has her game face on when it comes to her charity, Keep A Child Alive. Earlier this week while on Regis & Kelly, she hinted of the star studded event that was to go on, and last night, A. Keys owned the night.

Usher, Iman, Halle Berry, Tyler Perry, Mary J Blige, Swizz Beatz-just to name a few attened The 6th Annual Keep A Child Alive Black Ball at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.

Tameka Firing Shots At Usher?? To Be or Not To Be

This divorce between Usher & Tameka is getting on my last nerve, really! First Usher puts out "Papers", then word is that Tameka is ready for the divorce to be over, and Usher is the one holding up the papers!


As of yesterday, Tameka is 'Goin Off' on Global Grind about someone..Can you guess who?

To be or not to be…but at what cost? It’s almost inconceivable the lengths that some artists & entertainers feel obligated to go to keep themselves in the headlines. The prioritization of fan base over God, family, morals, and over just plain ol’ fashioned common sense is an example of that remarkable distance. I think it’s important to understand the premise of letting a character that’s been created for fans drown out who you really are. One easily can become a zombie, while the people who love them waste away looking for the sea salt. It becomes so easy to sell your soul to the entertainment business while creating an illusion of grandeur. Hence, this painfully obvious thirst for relevance that completely overshadows sensibility. But back to Usher holding up the divorce. A source of Tameka’s is saying that the terms and conditions have been agreed on for about a month but Usher keeps stalling on them, and Tameka is the one that wants to move on with her life.

Usher and Tameka’s split was already messy, but now with “Papers” hitting the scene, Tameka is convinced that Usher’s camp is trying to sabotage her. Especially now that Usher’s upcoming album may be titled “Raymond Vs.Raymond.” (Bossip).

Usher is making his return back to the music scene. On Monday, he released his new single, Papers, and clearly its obvious as to whom he is talking about. IMO, I think its a BAD attempt at trying to gain that response like he did with 'Confessions'. Either way, he let Tameka HAVE it!

Def Jam exec Grace Miguel, the woman who has been romantically linked with Usher, just got the ax from Def Jam.



According to YBF, Rumor has it that L.A. Reid forced Grace to resign last week because she was ‘mixing too much business with pleasure’. Her very public trysts with the still legally married Usher have allegedly been bringing bad press on the label and his reps are afraid that the bad publicity will hurt his public image.

But wait, there's more! Here's where it gets messy! “Usher not only cheated on soon to be ex-wife Tameka with Grace, who is 12 years his senior…but Grace was indeed married at the time as well. She filed for divorce conveniently around the same time Usher did. Tameka was also married and ‘filing for divorce’ around the same time she and Usher got together. (YBF)”

Usher's Soon To Be Ex-Wife Is Stalking His Grandma?

Okay, well maybe not his grandma, but she damn sure old enough to be!

SandraRose.com reports:

Over the weekend I heard from a well-connected industry insider who confided in me that Usher, 30, and Def Jam executive Grace Miguel, 42, are still an item. My source said Usher is “very much in love” with Grace, and he flies to NYC frequently to be with her.

According to my source, Usher’s estranged wife, Tameka Foster ex-Glover ex-Raymond, 40, is very unhappy that another older woman is now rocking Usher’s world.

I guess Tameka forgot that Usher is still working through serious Oedipus Complex issues from his childhood. And until those issues are resolved, he will forever seek out older women as sexual surrogates for his mother. Men like Usher, with unresolved childhood issues, do not make suitable husbands or boyfriends.

My source says Tameka has made Grace’s life a living hail. Somehow, Tameka got ahold of Grace’s personal cell and home numbers and has been harassing the poor marketing exec to the point where she has had to change her numbers at least twice.

There is also a standing order at Def Jam for security to keep an eye out for Tameka, who has been warned to stay away from Def Jam property. Security has been ordered to call the police if Tameka is seen anywhere near Def Jam’s New York offices. Word is that Tameka called L.A. Reid repeatedly demanding to know why Grace has not been fired for wrecking her marriage.

My source also cleared up the rumors of a reality show in the works for Tameka. He said Tameka has spoken with execs at BET who politely passed on her show. VH1 execs also declined, and MTV refused to even see Tameka! “I don’t know who she met with down there in Atlanta,” said my source. “But she’s already been turned down by all the networks.”

My source said that when Tameka floated the idea of a possible reality show to Usher, he flatly refused to appear in the show. Usher also refused to allow his children to appear in the show. The networks have no interest in Tameka or her show because they fear retaliation by Usher, who has an album about to drop. They don’t want to jeopardize their good relationships with the R&B crooner.

Without Usher or the children’s participation, Tameka’s hopes for a reality show are dead in the water.
