Hope For Haiti Performances

On Friday night, more than 13 networks aired MTV’s Hope For Haiti Now telethon. The charity fund-raiser featured performances from Beyonce,Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Stevie Wonder and Justin Timberlake. Due to everyone's generous donations, they were able to raise over $57 million dollars.

My boy Sam over there at That Grape Juice previewed Chris Brown's new album Graffiti on his website. The album drops in the U.S. on the 8th of December!

After checking out the preview, 'Famous Girl', stuck out to me like a sore thumb!

It is the lyrically explosive ‘Famous Girl’, however, that is undeniably the album’s centre-piece and will have MANY tongues wagging. The song’s sparse production allows for the illumination of its lyrical content – which is explicitly aimed at a certain Rihanna (yes you read right, and will want to read on!) The reflective mid-tempo sees Brown acknowledge his fault in the relationship breaking down, however there are quite shocking revelations levelled up against his one-time love. Lyrics include:

“Drake would say you’re the best he ever had…everywhere we go, rumours follow…yet I still love you” // “should have known you’d break my heart” // “…you were the first to play the game…though I was wrong for cheating in the beginning ” // “I was wrong for writing Disturbia”.

My boy Chris is hurting for real! I can't wait to hear what he has to say ABC’s 20/20on December 11th. While Brown has been vague about the incident in past sit-downs, ABC is billing this as an in-depth interview.

Looks like Rihanna has Jay Z's song "On To The Next One", on repeat! She moved on from Chris...to Justin T (allegedly)...her friend from Barbados, and now Tristan!



According to the NY DailyNews, this became evident this past weekend during a party at the singer’s L.A. home in which Tristan was a guest.

“No one knew why Tristan was there initially, because it was not an industry party — it was very intimate,” says a fellow guest. “But everyone quickly realized they weren’t meeting for the first time, because they were openly affectionate for everyone to see.”

And the snitch claims sparks flew from the moment they met.

“He’s a real gentleman,” says the snitch. “She likes him a lot, and it shows. From the moment he walked into her party, Rihanna lit up.”

Although Rihanna is in major promo mode prepping for the release of her album, the snitch reveals that the “couple” have come up with a plan to make their fling last.

“They’ll keep in touch while she’s away.They’re already planning to use iChat and Skype to stay in contact until Tristan finishes shooting ‘90210′ for the season and can fly out to meet her on the road.”

Tristan has definitely moved on up from running the streets of Bmore in 'The Wire' to the '90210', and now to allegedly kicking it with Rihanna-I ain't mad! Well, actually I am...a little bit!

Rihanna's long anticipated album "Rated R" sprung a leak late last week and has been making its rounds around the net. Despite the leak being bad news for the "Russian Roulette" singer, reviews of the effort have been quite solid. Featuring thirteen songs, Rihanna's "Rated R" has thus far been called everything from "dark" to "different".

With "Rated R" Rihanna seems to throw everything done in years past out the window. Songs like "Please Don't Stop The Music," "Shut Up and Drive" and "We Ride" are gone and simply replaced with records like "Hard," where she sings "tougher than a lion... Rihanna's reign just won't end" and "G4L" (Gangsta For Life) where she defiantly states "any motherf**kers want to disrespect, we don’t play that s***."(SingersRoom)

Doing a little promo for her album on, Rihanna hinted at that she is interested in movies.

Her ideal role would be" [I would play] an assassin…either that or a lesbian. A gay Assassin? there is nothing hotter than that." Who would be the female interest? "
