Update: Matthew & Tina Knowles File For Divorce

The other day I reported that it was rumored that Tina had filed for a divorce from Matthew Knowles, well it looks its true. Like they say, its sad but 'all good things must come to an end."

The statement read:

“The decision to end our marriage is an amicable one. We remain friends, parents, and business partners. If anyone is expecting an ugly messy fight, they will be sadly disappointed. We ask for your respect of our privacy as we handle this matter.”

Usher FINALLY Signs The 'Papers'

Usher Raymond, 30, and Wife Tameka Foster Raymond’s Divorce is FINAL!

After filing for divorce in June, the two have been living separate lives, says a source. Usher and Tameka have two children together Usher Raymond V, 22 months, and Naviyd, 9 months. The Motion for Divorce was final on Nov. 4th.

We’ve all heard Usher’s new single ‘Papers’ in which he sings about moving on: “I gave my heart and turned my back against the world ‘cuz you were my girl/ I done damn near lost my mama/I done been through so much drama/I done turned into the man I never thought I’d be/I’m ready to sign them papers.” In the lyrics, Usher speaks on his personal life, including having to fire his mother as his manager and ‘Signing Papers’ may be referring to his ex-wife Tameka Foster. Toni Braxton & Her Husband Call It Quits!

I dont know if this comes as a suprise or not, especially not have Toni & Trey songz was exchanging spit on stage (see here) during the taping of 2009 Soul Train Awards!

ESSENCE.com has learned that superstar singer Toni Braxton is separated from her husband Keri Lewis, formerly of Mint Condition, after 8 years of marriage."

What's funny is that the picture was taken after the awards. It's something fishy going on here. I can't quite put my hand on it yet, but I will.....*coughs* publicity stunt!

Nas & Kelis File For Divorce

This news was kinda disturbing to me. I thought out of all the Hip Hop couples, these two would be together until the end. I guess Nas couldn't deal with the sex tape of Kelis sexing that other dude. I know at first they said it was "rumored", but I guess the Truth Lies Beneath.

R. Kelly's Divorce Is Final

Another saga in the life of R. Kelly has come to a close, as the singer's divorce from estranged wife Andrea became finalized yesterday. The pair had been married for 11 years. Lawyers for the former couple tell US magazine, "The parties have reached an amicable resolution concerning all issues related to their marriage, and will share joint custody of their three children." They added that the details of the agreement will remain confidential. In 2005, the couple separated after Andrea went to court for an emergency restraining order, claiming that Kelly had physically abused, harassed and stalked her. In 2007, she told Essence that she and Kelly "have a bond that we will have for the rest of our lives because we have children. That we filed for divorce is not that important."
