Nicki Minaj Cleans Up For Fadar Magazine

Young Money's Nicki Minaj is on the cover of Fadar Magazine, which hits news stands on March 2nd.

The barbie talks about her image, style, personality, and signing the boobies:

“I don’t want people to think I’m up there trying to be cute. I’m trying to entertain, and entertaining is more than exuding sex appeal. Anybody that knows me knows that I have a very, very bipolar personality, so one minute I’m excited and the next minute I’m crying and the next minute I’m cussing and yelling and the next minute I’m singing Enya. I’m not kidding. And the point is, my rap style now reflects my true personality. Because I am so weird…I wish I could fricking remember the first boob that I signed. I don’t know why I did it, but now I can’t go anywhere and not do it. People come up to me wherever I am, girls, sexy girls, like, ‘Can you sign my boob?’ I mean, ni**as in the club look at me like I’m a pimp. They like, Whaaat? Cause they be fly chicks. I don’t know, but I do know it’s a great thing.”

Drake Covers Complex Magazine

Drizzy Drake is on the cover of the February edition of Complex magazine. In this issue he talks about life after 'Degrassi', the negative feedback he got from his 'Best I Ever Had' video, his loyalty to Young Money, his injury, and more.

Check out a couple of excerpts from the interview:

Complex: Drake on His Loyalty To Young Money
"Everyone seems to have a comment for me about Young Money, “f*ck Young Money” or “Why are you with them?” But what people have to understand is maybe there was a way for me to be successful without Young Money. But we’ll never know. My loyalty is to Wayne, and that goes for anybody who genuinely believes in me. We don’t have the most personal relationship where we hang out every day or we talk that much, but Wayne’s admiration and respect goes without being verbally said. He put his neck out there for me at a very early stage, and those actions tell me everything I need to know about how he feels about me as an artist."

Complex: There was also a rumor going around that you ghost write for Wayne.

[Laughs]" You know, we're all great artists, great minds, and we all just contribute to each other, there's been times when Wayne has helped me out, and I'm sure, I hope, I've influenced him to do or say things on tracks. We help each other out, that's part of being two artists who respect each others creativity."

Complex: How's the atmosphere at Young Money now that Wayne is about to go to jail?
"We don't really talk about it. It's surreal to me still. I guess on the day that it really happens, I'll start thinking about what I gotta do. I wanna have a talk with Wayne and ask him what he needs from me."

Complex: Take me through your songwriting process.
"With R&B, I know my sound. I know I make records to fuck to. [Laughs.] The way Jay and Wayne write rap, I write R&B. I don't write lyrics down on paper. The other day, I was in the studio with Alicia Keys, and I wrote two songs just speaking to her. I wish I could write that way for rap. With my rap songs, there's so much of me I have to give that I don't know if I could ever just flow. The thing is, I'm a great rapper. There's two elements to rap: having the thoughts, and then being a great rapper. I can really rap the shit that I write. My tone, my inflection. When I listen to myself on records, I don't feel like I don't belong there. When I listen to "Forever," with three of my heroes, I fit right in.

Omarion Gets Dropped From Young Money!

Can we say 'Grand Opening, Grand Closing' for Omarion?

Two months after being signed to Young Money Entertainment, Omarion has been dropped from the giant recording company. Spilling the beans about the matter is the label's president Mack Maine on his Twitter which reveals that Omarion is fired because he has allegedly leaked his duet song with Lil Wayne.

"ATTN: Omarion is no longer Young Money ... the song they leaked ft. Wayne is not official .. good luck 2 him in his future," so Mack wrote. Shortly after that, one of Young Money's artists Jae Millz re-tweeted Mack's short message, apparently trying to emphasize that the news is not a rumor.

Omarion was previously signed to Epic Records before he joined Young Money Entertainment in June. He is currently working on his next studio album titled "A New Me". Now that he is out of Young Money, it seems that the singer has to seek a new home to release the effort. (ThatGrapeJuice)

On his Twitter page, Omarion tweeted "How kan I fall or get dropped when lam "gravity"...and jah is by my side being tha force that's driving and parachuting my arriving plateau"? Maybe he is denial?

Weezy Confirms New Baby; Tour Cancelled Due To Border Trouble?

Lil Wayne is welcoming another little Carter into the world. The rapper finally revealed during a radio interview on Tuesday (August 18) what had been widely speculated: Lauren London is expecting his baby. (MTV)

The "ATL" actress is several months pregnant and surprised attendees of Diddy's white party over the Fourth of July when she arrived with a bulging belly.

"Lauren London, she fine," Los Angeles Power 106 jock Fuzzy said to Wayne. "She very pregnant with your baby."

To which Wayne responded, "Very pregnant, yes."

Fuzzy then offered a congratulations to the Cash Money star, and he gladly accepted.

In more Wayne news, Lil' Wayne fans in Edmonton, Alberta were disappointed last night, as were those in Vancouver the night before when both dates on the America's Most Wanted tour were abruptly canceled.

Its been many reasons why folks are saying the tour is cancelled.

Reason #1: A Live Nation Twitter post indicated that last night's show had been called off "due to unforeseen circumstances."

Reason #2: "Lil Wayne, due to illness, was advised by his doctors to cancel the Young Money Presents: America's Most Wanted Music Festival tour stops in Western Canada," said a statement by tour organizers.

Reason #3: Nicki Minaj wrote on her Twitter account about arriving in Canada around 3 p.m. Soon after, she wrote about one of the tour buses undergoing a search. "They got the other bus under pressure right now . . . n--z brought the dogs out and s--t . . . smh (shaking my head)," she wrote.

I'm going with Reason #3! I'm just suprised that his boy Drake didn't make a call. He supposed to have Canda on lock!

Drake Has A Change Of Heart?

The canadian must have had a plate of humble pie!

Drake has apologized to Motown Records executive Sylvia Rhone after some unkind remarks he made in an interview with Fader. Still bitter after being passed over by the label, Drake said, "I went through Universal Republic because I don't [mess] with Motown, at all."

Drake also vents his frustrations on the track "Say What's Real," off his So Far Gone mixtape, rapping, "I've always been something that these labels can't buy / Especially if they trying to take a piece of my soul / And Sylvia be telling 'Tez, 'Damn, Drake fly' / And he just be like, 'Silly [expletive], I know.'"

But now Drake tells MTV, "For furthering the negativity, I can definitely say I apologize. I don't know [Rhone] personally to discredit her character. It's not the right thing to do."

Drake also talked about his recent collapse onstage. He blames the recent accident on his memory! Watch:

Drake 'Goes In' On Label Rep

Boyyyy, I tell you folks get a little change in their pocket and start to get amnesia. Someone should tell Drake that the same people you pass on the way up, are the same people you see on your way down!

Posted by Sharks

Rap's next big thing, Toronto rapper Drake revealed his reasons for signing a distribution deal with Universal Republic in this month's Fader magazine.

The former 'Degrassi: The Next Generation' star was courted by virtually every major label, and was rumored to have signed an unbelievably generous deal with Universal/Motown, but he set the record straight in the Fader, saying "I went through Universal Republic because I don't f--- with Motown at all."

Drake made his issues with Motown president and executive vice-president of Universal Records, Sylvia Rhone, public long before he signed his deal, saying "I've always been something that these labels can't buy/especially if they trying to take a piece of my soul/and Sylvia be telling Tez/Damn, Drake fly/and he just be like, 'silly motherf---er I know'" on "Say What's Real," from his mixtape 'So Far Gone.'

According to the Fader story, (Drake Drizzy's face also graces the cover, as previously reported), Rhone threatened Drake with legal action if he chose to sign elsewhere. Drake chose to avoid further dealings with Rhone, but will still include the Lil Wayne's Young Money logo (Young Money is on Universal Records) on his album.

"I respect the fact that Wayne put me in this position," Drake said. "But as an artist I have to do my own thing at this point. I'm not sure if that's gonna be a struggle in the next couple of months, to set myself apart. I don't want it to feel like a disrespectful thing, but I know it's a bridge that I'm going to cross as far as becoming my own person."

Not saying if and fact that Rhone did threaten Drake, but being disrespectful is NEVER cool!

Drake Collapses On Stage During AMW Tour!

I hate to say 'I told you so', but I told you so. I was hoping someone would have even passed the word on to Drake about not taking an ACL injury serious.

Drake chose to go on tour with the Young Money Family after the doctor ordered him not to go. Figuring that he knew what was best, he ignored the doctor's order.

Last nite, I was getting hit up with the Twitpic and messages saying 'Drake fell on stage'!
Shaheem Reid, MTV

Drake took a chance when he decided to perform on the America's Most Wanted tour with an injured knee, and that chance turned out badly on Friday night, when he had a nasty fall and had to be helped offstage at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey.

In footage of the fall on YouTube, Drake is seen walking past Lil Wayne (with whom he was performing) and suddenly slipping. Within seconds, stagehands help him up and assist the badly limping MC offstage.

Lil Wayne stops the track and jokes with the crowd about needing extra insurance for the tour. He asks the audience to make some noise for Drizzy, and then asks if any ladies in the house can do Drake's verse for him.

After his fall, Drake tweeted to Miss Info about the incident.

"We straight," he wrote. "Just to show that this ACL sh-- ain't a joke. Thanks for the support, and we'll be back ... Young moola."

"All is well...," he wrote later. "On the bus laying down... Getting surgery this week but I'm walking. Thank my whole YM family for the help. Lion Hearts!"

At press time, there was no official word on Drake's condition or when he might rejoin the tour, which continues at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York, on Saturday night (August 1).

Well, in the words of DJ Rod Madd Flava, "that's the dumb was it happens." But, in all honesty, I hope now Drake takes the times to allow his ACL to heal.

Drake Ignores Doctor's Order

No one must have never told Drake that 'Hard Heads Make A Soft Ass'.

Drake has decided to bypass doctor's orders and hit the stage tonight (July 27) for the start of the Young Money tour alongside Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy and Soulja Boy Tell Em.

Claiming the fans played a big role in his decision, Drizzy explained why he is willing to risk further injuring his torn ACL.

I know Drake is saying he is still going to do the tour for his fans, but that's the 'dumb way it happens'! He gonna be Wheelchair Jimmy for real!
