Janet Jackson "Conrad Murray Killed My Brother"

Dr. Conrad Murray has admitted to administering Propofol to Michael Jackson, but claims he didn’t kill Michael.

But in an interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts, Janet stated, “He was the one that was administering … I think he is responsible.” In the interview, which airs Wednesday, Janet also claims Murray should no longer be allowed to practice medicine.

Janet also says Michael is constantly on her mind, saying “It’s been a tough year … You have your days where it’s just really… it’s hard to believe. And a day doesn’t go by that I don’t think about him.”

Jackson also recounts June 25, the day Michael died saying, “I was at my house in New York. You know, another day. Another morning. And I get a call … [my assistant] said, ‘Your brother’s been taken to the hospital. It’s on CNN right now. I called everyone’s. There’s a line busy or — someone wasn’t picking up. I spoke to mother. I spoke to Tito. I spoke to my nephew Austin. I spoke to my sister La Toya.” Jackson added, “I told them to call me when they got to the hospital. And I remember thinking nobody’s calling me back, so I tried calling again, and that’s how I found out that he was no longer … I couldn’t believe it.”

“It just didn’t ring true to me. It felt like a dream. It’s still so difficult for me to believe. It’s, you know, you have to accept what is. But it’s hard. You have to move on with your life. You have to accept what is and I understand that.”

Janet Jackson Opens Up For The First Time About Brother's Death

Dealing with her older brother's death hasn't been easy for Janet Jackson, but she's finally ready to talk about it.

In the 43-year-old singer's first interview since Michael's June 25th passing, Janet opens up in the October issue of Harper's Bazaar about her pain, the grieving process and how the ordeal made her a stronger woman.

"People can have rhinoceros skin, but there's a point when something's going to hurt you," she tells the magazine. "Not everyone is stone, stone. I haven't watched the news in weeks. I had to ask my chef, 'How's Obama doing?' I haven't read a newspaper."

The last time Janet saw her brother alive was on May 14 at a family event two days before her birthday.

"We had so much fun that day," she says in the interview. "We kept calling each other after and saying how great it was."

Janet was in Atlanta, on the set of her upcoming Tyler Perry movie, when she heard the tragic news of her brother's death.

She immediately flew back to Los Angeles to grieve with her family and was on hand for the memorial service at the Staples Center during which Michael's daughter spoke.

"I was really proud," she says. "People said to me that Michael's daughter speaking really gave them a sense of how he was as a father, in her words. Paris is incredibly smart; they are all so smart. She's a sweet girl. The kids are doing well. They're with all their cousins; that family love will keep them going."

In order to properly mourn the loss of her brother, Janet took a three day beach vacation and then threw herself into her new movie.

The grieving process taught Janet about her own strength too, which she attributes to her mother Katherine.

"Now at least I know that I can step up to the plate and not crumble when I'm needed," she says. "When it comes to something like this that is so, so serious, so painful, so traumatic, I can handle it."

Janet will honor her late brother Michael during a special appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night.

Report: Janet Jackson & Jermaine Dupri Call It Quits?

I don't know whether to give this the side-eye or not. We've heard soooo many times about JD & JJ breaking up, so you never know which to believe!

After almost seven years of dating and on the heels of the passing of her brother Michael, Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri have reportedly called it quits.

A source told Us Weekly that Dupri says the relationship is over. "His friends are telling people it's over."

"They have been moving in different directions for a while," the unnamed source continued.

Dupri was noticably abset from Michael Jackson's public memorial earlier this month.

He produced several of Jackson's music from her last two albums -- 20 Y.O. and Disciple. One friend says mixing work with their personal lives contributed to their drifting apart.

"You shouldn’t mix business with pleasure," a friend of the former couple told the mag. "Janet felt their lives were too crossed and they should have kept things separate."

Aside from the break-up, Janet is still grieving over the death of her brother, and helping take care of his kids.

If this IS true, this is the wrong time, IMO, for JD to be stressing Janet. Especially if she is about to become a "new" mom of Michael's kids. I've heard that JJ would be more than happy to be their mom if the kids want that. A custody hearing is set for Monday.

Janet Jackson Reportedly Back To Work

Janet Jackson isn't letting any grass grow under her feet. Just a week after burying her brother, Michael, Ms. Jackson (cuz im nasty) is back to work!

Malik Yoba, who was Jackon's husband in Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married," took to his audio blog Saturday while on location for the sequel, saying that Jackson was back on set.

"For those of you who are curious about the state of Ms. Jackson, all seems well," Yoba said, according to Radar Online. "She's here at work and we've got a couple of serious scenes to shoot today."

Yoba also indicated that the cast will shoot for another week in Georgia, then head to the Bahamas for more filming.

Ciara Wants To Record With Janet

During her recent UK promotional trip, Ciara revealed that she is actively seeking a duet with icon Janet Jackson.

The singer confirmed that a project with Jackson is at the top of her wishlist following the success of 'Love Sex Magic', her recent collaboration with Justin Timberlake.

"My dream is to collaborate with Janet Jackson. She was my big idol growing up," Ciara told the Daily Star.

Beyonce vs. Ciara-Deja' Vu?????

You can call it what you want, but it's way too many close calls between a couple of Ciara's videos and images with Beyonce's. But according to Cici, she told Honey Magazine that it's all B.S.

“I don’t think there’s really anything to address. I think it’s very, very funny,” Ciara said.

“They must have really enjoyed [my shows] that much to go and nitpick it, because it’s something they pulled up and was like, ‘Yo! Beyonce Knowles has infuriated Janet Jackson - by suggesting her family is lower class. The former Destiny’s Child singer said in a recent interview, “I grew up upper class. Private school. My dad had a Jaguar. We’re African-American and we work together as a family, so people assume we’re like The Jacksons.

“But I didn’t have parents using me to get out of a bad situation.” Knowles’ comments were not welcome - and Janet now plans to confront her R&B rival.

A source tells the National Enquirer magazine, “Beyonce’s remark came out of left field and really stung Janet. She blew up. “Yes, Janet and the Jackson family came from Gary, Indiana, and there was a time they barely squeaked by. But Janet has many loving memories and is incensed that Beyonce would make a crack like that.

“Janet wanted to know why Beyonce had to mention her family. They’re not friends and barely know each other. Due to being struck down with the Flu, Janet Jackson has been forced to cancel her scheduled performance on Saturday Night Live this week (March 15th). In her place will be Def Jam label-mate Mariah Carey, who will give the first televised live performance of 'Touch My Body', as well as 'Migrate' from her forthcoming 'E=MC²' album.

Though word has it Janet will now be hosting the show and performing in May, I can't help but be left with a bit of salty taste in my mouth. Janet Jackson had to cancel her scheduled performance this weekend on "Saturday Night Live" after being bitten by the flu bug. The entertainer went to the emergency room at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills Monday night after complaining of shortness of breath and flu-symptoms. She was released shortly afterwards. "She's fine," her rep told People magazine. "She's just battling this crazy flu like everyone else." In related new, Jackson's Live in Hawaii DVD will be re-issued on April 8th. Janet performs 21 songs during the two-hour program that originally aired as an HBO concert special.
