Memorial Services For Michael Jackson Are FINALLY Set

Since the passing of Michael Jackson, everything surrounding his death and burial has seem to be a circus. One moment their saying his memorial services will be here....there....geez, just come on with it!

Finally, we have some concrete details. Lets hope things don't change again!

A free public memorial for Michael Jackson will be held Tuesday (July 7) at 10 a.m. PT at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. There will be 11,000 tickets distributed to the general public. PR firm Sunshine Sachs & Associates, hired to speak on behalf of the family, will hold a press briefing Friday (July 3) morning at 10 a.m. PT to announce details on how the public can register for tickets. I hope this doesn't happen, but why is something in the back of my mind saying that someone is going to try to make some $$ of these memorial tickets!

Im just at lost for words right now....Speechless. I want to send my prayers out to the entire Jackson Family! I pray that folks will respect them in this hard time.

Michael Jackson, the self-anointed "King of Pop" who revolutionized music but whose legacy was marred by allegations of child molestation and bizarre behavior, died after suffering cardiac arrest Thursday. He was 50 years old.

The Los Angeles Fire Department was called to Jackson's residence at 12:26 p.m. P.T., according to the Los Angeles Times. The paper reported that paramedics performed CPR on Jackson, who was not breathing when they arrived at his home. He was rushed to LA Medical Center, just six miles from his home.

Jackson's death comes less than a month before the start of a scheduled series of so-called comeback concerts. From July 13 to March 6, 2010, Jackson was scheduled to perform 50 sold-out concerts at London's O2 Arena.

Jackson is survived by his three children, Prince Michael I, Paris and Prince Michael II
