Damn, Homey! In C.O. School You Was The Man Homey!!!

Rick Ross, your letting me down. I knew something was wrong when I went to Louis Vuitton website looking for those glasses, and couldn't find them. Honestly, I wasn't going to say anything because I thought they were sooo exclusive. Come to find out they are "exclusively"fake"! Im wondering know if I scratch the LV on the glasses, will they have a smell like the old scratch-n-sniff's?

On the cover of the May XXL magazine, Rick Ross was photographed at close range, donning Louis Vuitton sunglasses. The publication learned, by way of letter to the editorial staff from Vuitton's attorney, that those glasses were indeed fake, causing a lot of controversy for the famed designer brand, and perhaps the rapper. Sent by Michael D. Pantalony, Esq., the letter claimed the glasses' trademarks were "counterfeit," and caused "confusion" for readers and consumers. The attorney also clarified that Vuitton has no known association with the rapper or the publication.

In Ross' defense, because Ive done a couple photo shoots and your rushing, and you just put it on what they give you. Note to RR, check your stuff next time. Imjussayin'

Curtis??? Did You Wreck Rick Ross CD In-Store???

By: J.R., Hip Hop Rx

Though Rick Ross, who has been beefing with 50 Cent for the past several months, came out on top of the charts with his first week album sales, with “Deeper Than Rap,” the rapper might have made it to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 but at an autograph signing at a Best Buy in NY, things didn’t seem to go so well.

Fans were a reported no-show at the supposed Rick Ross autograph signing promoted on Hot 97 in NY and advertised on a supposed flyer as “Meet Rick Ross April 23rd @ 7PM Best Buy New York, NY... Purchase “Deeper Than Rap” beginning Tues 4/21 and receive a wristband to secure your space in line for the special RICK ROSS in-store signing.”

Needless to say, according to reports, no one showed. Was this the work of Rick Ross’ hip hop rival 50 Cent?

Tony Yayo & Lloyd Banks Dropped; Rick Ross Offers Label Deal

Maybe Rick Ross does have a heart, or maybe he is just feeling sorry for G-Unit's Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo. Word is that they have been dropped from Interscope.

Via SOHH

With his album Deeper Than Rap finally hitting store shelves, Rick Ross has continued his G-Unit taunts, claiming Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo have been dropped from Interscope Records.

Ross addressed his post-battle with G-Unit, while offering to be their boss.

"You asking me do I feel responsible that Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo is dropped from Interscope," Ross said in an interview. "I'm not gonna take full responsibility but I just believe Jimmy Iovine and all the geniuses at Interscope, I think they understand that their career with music is over. As well as 50 Cent's...Everybody telling me I did it, thanks. But honestly, they did it, they did it to themselves...It's sad when you get dropped and you working with [Dr.] Dre...I'ma pull up their BDS, I know their last album, T.O.S. flopped, I think it sold 15,000 copies its first week or something close to that, I'ma pull up their BDS and make an offer...I might get 'em a situation on Haitian Mafia...Interscope won't sign you, Def Jam won't sign you. Pretty much, go to E1 [formely Koch Records] if we offer you something."

Ranting against Interscope last week, New York City deejay Funkmaster Flex also hinted at Banks and Yayo being off the label.

"Let me tell you something Nino, New York I'm talking to a person who makes decisions, who does things up there moving funny style," Flex said on his radio show about an Interscope employee. "Interscope Records, nothin' is spinning...From what I understand, I think Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo arent on that label anymore, it's just 50 Cent. And I think 50's deal is up there. 50, from what I hear, your deal is up at Interscope, we got you. I'd walk out that building after that."

Call From G-Unit To Rick Ross Was Fake!!!

Looks as if Rick Ross got, got!

In a recent interview with TorchIsNy.com, the Miami rapper made the claim that an employee of G-Unit, who he identified as Nelson Gomez, called him out of the blue and offered to pay him a large sum of money to end his battle with 50 Cent. While bloggers speculated whether Ross was telling the truth or not, the truth has come to light, thanks to Ballerstatus. It was discovered that Rick Ross did, in fact, get the call he claimed he did. However, the caller was not a 50 Cent employee. Actually, Rick Ross was just another victim of celebrity crank caller Ralphige, who pretended to be a G-Unit Records executive named Nelson Gomez.

Rick Ross & Lil Wayne Send "Death" Warning

Rick Ross has announced an upcoming collaboration with Lil Wayne on his 50 Cent diss record "Valley of Death" from Deeper Than Rap.

While avoiding questions as to whether Weezy will offer verbal jabs at Fif, the "Boss" detailed his relationship with the rapper.

"I got a lot of respect and a lot of love, not only for Lil Wayne, but for Cash Money Records," Ross said in an interview. "Those were some of the few dudes that embraced me outside of the music long before the fame and fortune. I always felt it was genuine. Birdman and Slim been coming to Miami for years now...Anytime I called Wayne for anything, whether it's an album cut or remix, he was just there for me. 'Valley of Death,' that concept was just, that's really what it is...everyday I get up and live the life that I live." Ross'

"Valley of Death" song's first verse and music video were recently leaked online.

"Walk like a giant/ Talk like a tyrant," Ross raps, "Lord knows when I see this monkey I'mma be the devil/ Beat him 'cause I'm clever/ Beat him at whatever/ You never was a G n*gga...New York unified, down South love that/ When we got the shine, motherf*ckers where the love at/ Real n*ggas get money, better log on/ Think the game dead, imagine when your dawg gone/ Imagine when it's all gone/ When you fall off, it's only one to call on."

Foxy Brown to 50 Cent: Eat Your Words Or Get Handled Brookly Style!

The war of words between Rick Ross and 50 Cent has dominated Hip Hop headlines since it began. Now, the verbal jousting has turned into an unofficial three way dance after Foxy Brown was injected into the battle.

In “Try Me,” one of 50’s barbs to Ross includes a reference to a relationship between Ross and Brown.

“The cop fucked a fox,” 50 spits towards his new, Miami based adversary.

Word got back to Brown, and she is none too happy about the reference. According to reports, the Brooklyn Femcee has demanded that the G-Unit label head issue a retraction—or else.
"Foxy is giving that nigga [a] 24 hour [period] to retract that statement or she's going handle [him] Brooklyn Style,” a representative for Brown allegedly told All Hip Hop.

50 issued another attack on Ross during an appearance on the Ed Lover Morning Show on New York's Power 105. During the segment, 50 read off Ross' financial statement that show the rapper to be $7 thousand in debt every month due to expenses.

"I try to be as disrespectful as possible," 50 said of the beef.

Will 50 Cent take back the statement he said about Foxy Brown, Nope! Check out the diss video, called Pimpin' Curly!

He tells Don Diva, "Yes, it's me. I never tried to hide my past. I put my name inside my C-Ds. My company has my [social security number]. I could've put a company name. I never ratted on a [brother]. I never prosecuted a [brother]. I never locked up a [brother]. When I'm making my music and I'm talking about blow, it's because I did it. When I say that I'm rich off cocaine, it's because I did it."

Rick Ross Sued For $4 Million Dollars Over Alleged Beatdown

Just five days after an altercation between DJ Vlad and Rick Ross’ crew went down at the Ozone Awards last Sunday in Houston, DJ Vlad has filed a $4 million dollar lawsuit against Ross, claiming the Miami emcee rapper orchestrated a brutal attack.

“Rick Ross orchestrated a brutal attack upon DJ Vlad, carried out at his direction by his accomplices, in retribution for media coverage of Rick Ross’ prior life as a correctional officer,” claims Vlad’s attorney Brian Caplan as told to MTV.

The altercation (that left DJ Vlad with seven stitches below one of his eyes, a corneal abrasion, three facial fractures and possible nerve damage) is alleged to be in reaction to Vlad’s YouTube channel. In which he recently interviewed the Clipse about Ross’ alleged former life as a C.O. as well as an interview with incarcerated drug dealer “Freeway” Ricky Ross, where Ricky Ross disassociated himself from the rapper.

According to DJ Vlad's complaint letter that he shared with HipHopDX, Ross "lured DJ Vlad to a meeting for the purpose of obtaining retribution" during the TJs DJs/Ozone Awards weekend. Ross initially made contact with Vlad via text message on August 10th saying "Niggas will learn...trillaaa." After Vlad responded, not knowing who the text was from, Ross responded by saying "Ross...im hearing things." Ross then called Vlad and said, among other things, "I've been hearing things about me on your website...We gonna make a story...We going to see each other... We going to talk...Where are you?" Both realized they were in Houston for the Ozone Awards and arranged a meeting on the 2nd floor of the Hilton Americas - where the TJs DJs Conference was being held. Ross, accompanied by at least four others, told Vlad "We got beef," and shortly after those with Ross attacked Vlad while Ross watched.

Vlad is seeking $2 million in compensatory damages and $2 million in punitive damages.

Kels Sidebar: If this is true, does that mean that C.O. will have to pay the money or Rick Ross the rapper? I'm just saying.....

You Can't Trust Nobody! Rick Ross' Sister Confirms Rapper's Former Occupation

One of Rick Ross' sister has confirmed that her brother was a former correctional officer. According to Blogger, Sandra Rose, his sister attended his community event-Be Out Day, in Miami. Speaking through a source, she verified Ross' past employment as a Correctional Officer for the state of Florida in the late 90's.

When asked why Ross continues to flat out lie about being a prison guard, the source who is close to Ross' said "I think he's so caught up in the persona he built for himself , that he really might believe he wasn't a corrections officer.

The source also revealed that he isn't as hard as he appears to be (I, Kelson do know that for a fact. He a cool dude). The source said they are all fake: Plies, Flo-Rida, Ross-none of them are real gangsters.

Kels Sidebar: When I think of them, Gangster is the LAST word that comes to mind!

SAY IT AIN'T SO RICK ROSS???

South Florida rappers Rick Ross and Trick Daddy are beefing over an accusation Trick Daddy made that could adversely affect Rick’s career.

According to Trick Daddy, Ross was once a corrections officer in South Florida. Not so says Ross, who claims a photo circulating the Internets of him wearing a corrections uniform is a Photoshopped fake. I believe Rick. The photo looks like his high school picture was Photoshopped on someone else’s body (note the curly hair that doesn’t match Ross’s hair texture).

Check out Rick Ross denying ANY allegations. Peep This!

So even after Ross denies that he was a C.O. The folks over at keepittrill.com scored this pictures of someone who appears to be Ricky Ross. According to wikepedia Rick Ross real name is Williams Roberts. And this is what they have tagged under his early life:
Photobucket

Rick Ross was born William Roberts in the lower-class Carol City in Florida.[1] At Carol City Senior High School, he played football, and he later attended the historically black Albany State University in Albany, Georgia on a football scholarship.[2] He began rapping around the mid-1990s, at which time he formed the five-man amateur group Carol City Cartel.[3][Source]

Ricky has gone on record as saying the following:

"My life is 100 per cent real. These online hackers putting a picture of my face when I was a teenager in high school on other peoples' body. If this s**t was real don't you think they would have more specifics, like dates and everything?"
