If You Missed It: VH1 Hip Hop Honors 2009

Even if your cable was cut off because you didn't pay your bill, you might want to thank VH1 to posting the 2009 VH1 Hip Hop Honors online! Heck, this works for me too because I missed it. The last segment I saw was when my girl MJB was performing with Meth. Now was it me, or did Mary look like she was OVERRR that performance. You check out the performances and you decide.

My honest opinion, I was BORED with the part of the show that I did see!

I would be lying if I said I agreed with this years' "HOTTEST" MC's! I mean, really! Just because an artist is on every song, does that mean that they are the HOTTEST! Please tell me why Eminem didn't make this years' list?

Hip Hop Honors Taping!

Last night, VH1's Hip Hop Honors was taped in NYC! I wasn't able to make it up to the taping, but from watching some of the media folks(@dcgirl627 @missinfo @vibe ) Tweets, I felt like I was there.

The show, which airs October 13th, featured performances by Public Enemy, The Roots, Eminem, Foxy Brown, Mary J Blige & Method Man, Warren G, Trey Songz, Ludacris, Rick Ross and more.

From the pics, It looks as if Jay, Kanye, and LL were absent. How is it gonna be a celebration for Def Jam when some of their BIGGEST artist/the reason they are what they are, weren't there? Big ups to Unle Kevin Liles for going!

Now, with the pics:

So, just from the pictures alone-I am pumped for when it airs! Or unless, someone has it on 'Bootleg' by then. Either one will work! LOL :)

UFC's Rampage Beat Out 50 Cent, Ice Cube, Common, and The Game for 'The A-Team' Role

Ice Cube, 50 Cent, Common and The Game all wanted to take over Mr.T’s role for the big screen version of The A-Team. But when the dust settled none of the four rapper/actors got the role. “B.A. Baracus” will be played by Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. In fact, Jackson’s already on the set (up in Canada) shooting the film.

The A-Team movie follows the same basic concept as the 1980s TV series: war heroes get framed for a crime, escape from military prison and become heroes for hire while trying to clear their names. On TV, the A-Team were Vietnam vets, but in the movie they’re ex-Iraq War soldiers.

I think Rampage is the BEST fit to play Baracus' role!
